Home Remedies to Treat Bad Breath

> Bad breath Halitosis is a problem for centuries. It is caused by odor producing bacteria in the mouth. Could start oral surface of the tongue, between teeth and below the surface of the gum line.

Home remedies for Bad Breath:
* Keep your mouth clean. Brush your teeth twice a day and floss daily.
* Clean up the surface of your tongue. Brush your tongue after you brush your teeth.
* Never wear dentures when sleeping. Wash well and remove them at night.
* Keep your mouth moist. A dry mouth means smelly breath. Saliva cleanses the mouth. It washes away food particles. Suck sugarless mints to stimulate saliva protection.
* Anxiety dries the mouth. So, as far as possible avoid stress.
* Avoid foods such as garlic, onions, anchovies and seaweed are rich in smell. Strong smells linger in the mouth.
* Chew leaves of mint to freshen breath.
* Drink tea without sugar.
* Have apple a day - this helps remove the bacteria.
* It has fresh lime juice after every meal.
* Gargle with baking soda dissolved in warm water.
* Eat yogurt for 6 weeks.
